| ERKAS Pärnu Institute OÜ strarted to work from 1st March. The holders of the company are ERKAS Arendusteenused OÜ and Entec AS. The aim of new company is supporting municipalities with planning (mainly comprehensive planning) and offering training services connected with plans and strategic environmental assessment of plans. ERKAS Pärnu Institute OÜ activities are: -
Planning and consulting; -
Strategic Environmental Assessment; -
Landscape related plans and projects; -
Assembling tutorial materials and handbooks to municipalities; -
Organizing development and training days for municipalities; -
Other development services. ERKAS (Estonian Regional and Local Development Agency) was established in co-operation by three unions of local self-governments: - The Association of Estonian Cities;
- The Union of Local Governments in Estonia;
- The Union of Estonian County Municipals.
